Lakeland Terrier

The Lakeland Terrier is an all around great dog for urban or rural environments, perfect for a family with plenty of active time with the dog.

His coat has a distinctive "saddle" marking across the back and shoulder and a well shaped "beard" due to long facial hair. The Lakeland Terrier will need grooming to remove hair around the eye and face area. Otherwise, the Lakeland Terrier's coat is easy to maintain.

Once a vermin hunting dog, this breed is now seen in shows or as the family pet. Be aware that your Lakeland Terrier will want to dig based on its natural instincts.

This dog is easy going and friendly and makes a fine companion.
